Nature’s Botanical Personal Insect Repellent – repels flies, midges and mosquitoes

Nature’s Botanical is a Rosemary and Cedarwood essential oil based personal insect repellent. It repels flies, sandflies (aka midges) and mosquitoes and DOES NOT contain chemicals such as DEET or Picaradin.

Scientifically conducted field studies demonstrate the product can repel flies, midges and mosquitoes for up to 4 hours when applied to lower limbs. These studies were conducted in Tropical QLD (Cairns). Actual protection time will vary depending on a host of factors such as how applied, the area of protection (limbs are less attractive to flies than the face) and skin chemistry (eg sweating, how attractive an individual is to insects etc).

The product comes in a thick crème, which is hand applied and a lotion which is applied by roll-on. If applying above the eyes, the crème is less likely to run in the eyes with sweat.

Nature’s Botanical Crème
A soft white creamy appearance and feel, Nature’s Botanical Crème has the texture of a high end moisturiser and a pleasant aromatic odour reminiscent of its essential oil base. When the Crème is rubbed into the skin it becomes transparent and leaves no oily residue.

Nature’s Botanical Lotion
Nature’s Botanical Lotion is substantially thinner than the Crème and is more suitable when used in a spray and roll-on application. Like the Crème, the Lotion is an easy to apply white lotion that becomes transparent when rubbed into the skin.
